What is SEO?

SEO stands for “search engine optimization” which is improving your site visibility to search engines such as Google and Bing. The more attractive your site is to the search engine, the more likely you are to gain attention and be able to entice prospective customers to your business.

𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗦𝗘𝗢 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸?

Search engines use ‘bots’ (something I will explain in another article) to crawl pages on the web and collect information. This info is then indexed and analysed by algorithms (perhaps another post?) to determine the order pages should appear in the search results, like a popularity contest.
